State Employee Workforce Housing
Pintler Meadows is an investment of the State of Montana authorized by the 2023 Montana Legislature to provide housing for state employees at the Montana State Prison and Montana State Hospital. The Board of Investments oversees the property in addition to its Commercial real estate portfolio.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Permanent employees of Montana State Hospital or Montana State Prison who:
- Have a household income less than the State of Montana median household income ($66,341);
- Spend more than 30% of monthly household income on housing; or
- Are currently unhoused.
HOW IT WORKS
The applicant pool is a rolling lottery that draws are units become available.
